A musketeer is an infantry soldier, schooled in pole arm use, fencing, and using the new technology of smoke powder. Often flamboyant and arrogant, only the best soldiers are chosen and trained as musketeers. At this stage, the musketeer is still learning the ropes and is something of a loose cannon (pun intended). To join the guild, you must be a person of singular prestige and title (have at least 250,000 gold in your bank account), a landed person if not gentry, but the fee itself is but a tithe (25k). This is a non-magical guild.
