The Darkfey are the spellcasters of the Unseelie Court. Although purporting to be the true masters of magic, Darkfey aren't masters of anything. In fact, the chaotic element of their magic is seen as a means of 'weeding out the weak' and they sneer at the non-Seelie races who attempt to dabble in their magicks. Darkfey sorcery can be extremely powerful, but it can also be wild and uncontrolled. When spells are cast correctly, they are awesome to behold. But it is the fumbles that the Darkfey are legendary for. That and their peculiar appetites...
