Description: One of the greatest advancements in lifeforce manipulation came from the discovery of vestiges. A vestige is left behind whenever pain is caused to a living being. They are visibly undetectable, but experimentation has revealed a way in which they can be recovered by a shard and used by the necromancer. In order to do this, the necromancer must set a special ward on the victim before the pain is issued. They must also remain in close proximity to the victim less they lose their ability to recover these vestiges. This can be directed with a lifeforce link. Usage: cast vestige recovery at [living target].
