Description:
This skill allows you to use your weapon to parry your opponent's blows. The type of weapon you have in your left hand determines its effectiveness. Weapon breakers, nets, and daggers work best, in that order. Only Monks can weapon parry while unarmed. Being larger than your enemy helps you weapon parry their attacks more easily.
This defensive style is designed for use with off-handed weapons. While parrying with your main-hand weapon (when wielding a two-handed weapon or with your off-hand empty) is possible, doing so is less effective. This penalty does not apply to staves.
NOTE: Using this mode lowers your overall number of hits per round.
