Named for the way the user's weapon 'chases after' the opponent's, this skill represents the art of timing one's blows to coincide with the exact moment an opponent draws back to strike. While this technique does not deal any damage of itself, it places the opponent on the defensive, reducing the frequency of their attacks and slowing their efforts to employ their own spells or techniques. If employed following a successful hilt strike or hew, the opponent may even be knocked down as the fighter presses the assault. Skill Usage
