Description: Behemoths are massive whales with powerful arms. Slow and ponderous, thoughtful and wise, they speak the language of whales and are their guardians and protectors. Their blubber protects from cold but they are used to the quiet depths, and so are hurt by loud noises. They have great strength, but this is offset by their gentle minds. Their ability to hold their breath is also unsurpassed, allowing them to function for such extended periods underwater as to make it difficult to distinguish between their methods and the underwater breathing abilities of other races. The behemoths are the speakers of the Wysoomian Seas, coming ashore to further the objectives of the Whale Council.
