This power allows a gorgon to slowly petrify another living being. It won't work on the undead, beings with no corporeal bodies (shadows, puddings, suula), creatures of stone (gargoyles, papua, other gorgons), or non-living beings (xodar, hephestians). It also won't work on plants. The creature being petrified and the gorgon doing the petrifying must be able to see. If it's too dark, the power won't work. Each petrification slowly turns the victim's skin to stone (loss of AGI). It will transform parts of their body into stone upon death, which gorgons and other rock-eating races can then consume.
