This rite involves summoning an avatar of the Rat spirit to bite a prospective Muridan and determine his worth. Once bitten, the subject fallens victim to a random physical disease (to which Muridan are immune but carriers) and hallucinations. These hallucinations determine the Muridan's role in life, which provide it a bonus to stats to that end. Note: each use increases stats but decreases exp rate (by 1% per use).
