Potions are magical liquids that, when imbibed, cause the drinker to be
magically influenced in some way.  It requires the creature have a
digestive system of some sort.  Thus, beings which do not need to eat can
not drink potions.  Not all potions are beneficial and some are simply
deadly.  Potions come in a variety of textures, colors and flavors, but
this is by no means a sure guide to what the potion actually does.  To
drink a potion, it must be in your inventory.  Type: drink potion.  Use
color names (drink purple potion) to distinguish between multiple potions
in your inventory.
