Gifted Ones are individuals with special powers who are more powerful, more
heroic or demonic, more extreme than the average person within the 
Retroverse.  That is, Gifted Ones are the individual personae
you take on when you play this game.  A Gifted One has the following
powers:

* 'Tell' any other Gifted One (or Immortal) a message.

* Sense all other Gifted Ones in the Retroverse by utilizing the
  'who' command.

* No Gifted One can permanently die.  A Gifted One can be killed but only
  temporarily.

* Gifted Ones are painfully aware of their own twisted Immortality.  A
  Gifted One remembers everything, and is aware of "the big picture". 
  They are inevitably drawn into the conflict between the Gods and the
  Immortals.  Thus, while normal beings stride the planets and mindlessly
  go about their business, Gifted Ones are all too aware of their
situation.
