BELIEFS:  Saa-Sai, the Crystal Deity, is the personification of
    intelligence and destiny, an Elder God whose influence stretches
    across the Retroverse.  He is probably most known for building of the
    city of Sauronan and its Crystal Tower after the fall of Atlantis to
    provide new home for the scattered Jotun peoples.  He is also credited
    with the invention of Writing, especially Drakhen and Jotun runes.  It
    is said that he has known the fate of the worlds since their creation
    and can tell the future but cannot control destiny.
    
    WORSHIPPERS:  Saa-Sai is worshiped by various Wysoomian peoples as
    well as the Meritosians and other practitioners of Hekau.

    AVATAR:  Saa-Sai manifests himself in the material plane as a
    crystalline entity of titanic proportions, and does so often to confer
    with the Celestial Dragons and Wysoomian Elders in the Crystal Tower.
