Troll--1) To post or use a channel in a way that is designed to attract
predictable responses or flames. 2) To attempt to recruit (or steal)
players from one game for another. Derives from the phrase "trolling for
newbies" which in turn comes from mainstream "trolling", a style of fishing
in which one trails bait through a likely spot hoping for a bite. Even
angry and unruly players still play the game and thus have some value. 
Trolls have no value whatsoever other than to galvanize (and sometimes
entertain) the RetroMUD populace into action.  Trolling is expressly
prohibited on RetroMUD.
