Bored Player Syndrome
  When a player gets bored with playing, they still feel some
residual addiction to the game. Until the time that a
RetroMUD patch is made, this will cause them to continue
to log in, even though they don't want to play
the game. So instead they spend time loudly
complaining on channels, or posting
things, just for the sake of arguing. In many cases,
the idea is to get kicked off, because that:
1) justifies them being dissatisfied. It is no longer
a matter of them:
  a) not having party members/friends/social group
  b) not being able to handle new changes
  c) not playing up to their overall level of ability, and levelling off.
2) prevents them from logging in externally, compared to
needing the willpower for it.
