This lets you buy the specified item(s), provided you have enough money
with you to pay for them. Examples:
   buy 2              - buy item #2
   buy all of 3       - buy all of the #3 items
   buy 3 of the maces - buy the first 3 maces
   buy all torches    - buy all of the torches
   buy torch          - buy the first torch
   buy sword 2        - buy the 2nd type of sword
