When submitting ideas for changes to any aspect of the mud. Please take into consideration several things first. Guilds: 1) Is this within the theme of the guild? 2) Is this part of what makes another guild unique or in demand? I.E. Mages getting a spell to Reincarnate, Biomaancers with 1K unholy blasts, and Abjurers with blade parry 3) Is this really something the guild needs? Areas: All areas are not created for every person. They will not always have "the best" equipment but if it does have equipment it may be useful to someone else. An area designed around a natural theme with animals is not going to be the best for some guilds while it is very supportive of others. Each one has its own place with the myriad complexity of Retroverse. Consider each suggestion as if you personally had created the area and what it offers to the mud. Every area is not going to be the best experience, gold, and equipment rolled up in one. If that was the case then a mud would hold no challenge. -- Try to make your idea as informative, constructive, and unbiased as you possibly can. "This SUCKS change it" is not going to be taken well and likely ignored. If however you explain why this point is lacking or needed in a well thought out concept we can look at to see if it is an issue we need to address. This kind of suggestion is more likely to be viewed in a better light and possibly responded too. Wizards in general are very busy. If your idea is considered it will not be done until they have the time to do it. Not all ideas are good ones but they are listened too. In the same light the idea may not take the form you envisioned when you came up with it as wizards try to find a place for it within the Retroverse. |
