Level system

There are two kinds of level: adventuring (abbreviated to adv) and guild.
Both are obtained by using experience points (aka xp) you have obtained.

To gain an adv level, use the "advance" command in an adventurers' guild,
one of which can be found in every city.
To gain a guild level, use the "advance" command in the guild's advancement
room. There is only one location of a guild.

To gain a guild level, you always must have the adv level equivalent to the
total of all the guild levels you have:
Example 1: Chro wants to gain his 5th guild level in the Biomancer guild.
He sees the message "You have no free adventuring levels." -
this
means he does not have at least 5 adv levels. He must first go
to and adventurers' guild and advance to the 5th adv level,
before returning to the biomancer guild and attempting to
advance
           again.
Example 2: Chro wants to gain the 1st level of a new guild. He is by now a
level 20 Biomancer and has taken every level possible of the
Biomancer guild. He sees the message "You have no free
adventuring levels." so he finds an adventurer's guild and gains

his 21st adv level before gaining the guild level he wanted
           earlier.
Example 3: Chro now has 10 Lifemaster levels aswell as his 20 Biomancer
guild levels. To gain another guild level, he must have his
31st
           adventuring level.
