Know Your Guild

After going into the 'enter' exit back in the character creation room, you should be in your guild by your guild book. Take some time to read through it. Use the 'read page #' (where # is the page number). After reading that, take a moment to read throught the 'help commands'. If you have a question on a specific command use 'help [command]' (where [command] is the name of the command you have a question about). Make sure that you are a bit familiar with the commands before you continue, otherwise you'll have difficulty playing.

Now next it's best to go find your Guild Monster. Lets take, for example, the Suula/Biomancer character we made in the 'quick character' section. Right now that character, (We'll call him Bob for now) should be in the Biomancer Library (where the Guild book is). Bob wants to find his GM (Guild Monster), the Guild Monsters name for the bio guild is Gabrielle. From the Guild book Gabrielle is s and up. When you enter the room she will greet you. When in the room you can ask her question specific to the bio guild. (Other guilds have similar guild monsters that can answer questions about their respective guilds). Now lets have Bob ask Gabrielle about help. At the prompt (The prompt will look like this, Hp: [numbers here] Sp: [more numbers] ) Type 'ask gabrielle about help'. In responce she'll give you a list of topics you can ask more help about. This time Bob wants to know what 'dues' are, 'ask gabrielle about dues', etc. All primary guilds have a guild monster, normally they are located 2 or 3 rooms away from the guild book, so just look around and you'll find them.
